To eliminate both the startup tab and bookmarks prompt in your foirefox package, you just need to adjust these settings before your "after" snapshot.

I usually change the start page and uncheck the default check on startup before finishing the second snapshot.

Import bookmarks prompt? I was trying to get rid of the first tab like after an upgrade even, that says you've upgraded to the latest version of FireFox even.

If someone has those answers...Thanks!

Craig

Dose anyone know how to get rid of import bookmarks prompt when launching firefox for the first time? I want to make a package for firefox that will not prompt users to do so.

Hi Tom,
The sterile backups created with the JSS Setup Utility 5.1 or newer use the activation code from your JSS (without dashes) as the password. Your activation code can be found by navigating to the JSS > Admin tab > General Settings > Activation Code tab.
Thanks!

Hi Tom,

I'm not seeing anything about this in the manual so JAMF or someone else who uses them may have to answer you.

You're lucky. I can't even get a sterile backup to create on my Leopard server. I was going to test some things.

Good luck!

Craig

The JSS Setup Utility in Casper 5.11 can create a sterile backup of the JSS
database. The result is encrypted disk image, but I haven't been able to
open it. What password do I need to open the .dmg?
