thanks for the suggestions. my issue is when i deploy cs3 on machine where 
i may have installed cs2 using the cd. my cs3 does not work. i unistall 
cs2 first. manually or via casper.
i put in the serial no once during the install of cs3. i will look at 
every app for serial no spots.
