[Casper] Smart Computer Groups

I'm using Smart Computer Groups based on Departments. I find when I change a mac to a new department in the JSS, my Smart Computer Group updates immediately. When we run Recon from a mac and change the departments, the JSS reflects the change but the Smart Computer Group will not update. I've tested with both Casper 5.11 and 5.13. Has anyone else noticed this? or do I have something configured incorrectly?
