I know this is sort of piling on more than helping, but we just noticed this ourselves within the last week with our MS Office 2004 11.4.2 package.  It's a R/O DMG that we made with Composer.  A handful of machines say they installed the package (according to the JSS), but the software is nowhere to be found on the computer.  We re-imaged a couple of the machines, and it worked the second time for some of them but not others.  We're still trying to troubleshoot the others.  I'll post more if we figure anything new out.

Hey Guys-

I'm having a few problems with Casper.  When I image a machine, I'm
trying to use our existing MS Office package, which casper says it's
installing, but there is no MS Office folder in the Applications
folder when it is done.  The package looks normal, and I can see when
I use Casper Remote (which has the same issue) that the dmg is
mounting properly, but it's almost like it's not ditto'ing the files
out properly.  I have seen this issue with some other packages as
well, but haven't found a regularity.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?
