[Casper] Certain iMac computers hang during Casper Imaging

Subject: [Casper] Certain iMac computers hang during Casper Imaging

We have some iMac computers that hang with a “Beach Ball” during casper imaging. We use a Netboot environment, and what happens is the machine boots, goes through the grey apple screen with the spinning gear, It will then load the GUI, and I get a menu bar with “Casper Imaging” in the title and then nothing else… it just hangs there with a beach ball forever.  This is only with certain machines, all of my other iMac computers boot and image just fine, which have identical hardware to the ones that don’t work.  Has anyone else seen this behavior, and if so, come up with a solution to this?  Thanks! -Henry
