I couldn't get the MS-packaged 12.1.9 update to work - refused to
install, claiming there were no valid installs (but 12.1.7 was
installed - first version we deployed was 12.1.5).
Followed the MVPS link, and the installer command-line item would work
- the GUI installer wouldn't (from the .dmg downloaded from Microsoft).
Used Composer 7 and the CLI to build my own updater package, which
appeared to work, except Word would crash (tried it on multiple
machines) upon launch, so I punted.
I'll try 12.2/SP2 tomorrow and see if it works, but I am not
optimistic...
