[Casper] Non Casper Question- Remote Access

We use the Casper Remote Connection for that reason.  It logs connections and also is just nice to have one tool to do everything.  We have a few copies of ARD around yet, but I don't plan on purchasing more.  If it is a leopard computer, you have the screen sharing app as a possibility if the problem is with Casper Remote connecting.

What do other institutions use for remote access?  We use ARD, but we find it has no logging on the client side to show who accessed the system and when/where.   Any recommendations?
