I concur. If the mpkg is available (like with Flash plugin) that's always the first thing to try.

Why not use the .mpkg file that comes in the DMG file? That's how I use it here. I have Flip4Mac setup to install at login to make sure it isn't in use and to make sure all browsers are shut, and it works fine for us here.

Just wanted to package up a newer version
and again it's a bit of a battle. Have tried the Preinstalled DIFF
file for 2.1 and it doesn't seem to work.
Two others that are always a battle are Flash and Adobe Reader.
If you have any advice on Flip4Mac or a newer DIFF file it would be
most appreciated.
