[Casper] "no authorization"

yes, I have seen this before and how it happened to me was that I pushed out a massive password change for the casper ssh account. Well not all of them were updating on time or in sync, or a user would close their lid or something during the update and it would corrupt and to remedy it I was dropping the quick add package over ARD with the latest account info.

Hi-
Has anyone run into clients seemingly "falling off" the service? I had a user contact me today that his Self Service was showing "no authorization" and it turned out that his machine was no longer in the JSS. I reproduced the issue on my own machine by deleting my machine from the JSS. When trying to then run a "jamf recon" in that state, I was returned a "bad username or password" - which I assume is normal because the JSS no longer knows anything about my machine (including what the ssh username or password should be).
Anyone see this and/or have a fix that doesn't include reinstalling the client? (Which works fine.)
Thanks
j
