[Composer] Convert function....doesn't

After a many-hour session of recording my package I made a boo boo on the
very last step--I left the Composer setting at the default instead of
choosing Apple .pkg.  ::doom::  So then I spot the Composer convert
function.  ::glee::

However, since selecting this and choosing my .dmg to convert to .pkg,
Composer has been asking me to authenticate every three minutes or so,
saying "Composer requires you to authenticate to execute PackageMaker".
I've done so 20 times now and there is no sign it is ever going to stop
asking.  It never gives an error message--it just sits there and eventually
asks again.  What's going on and is there a fix?
