[Composer] permissions

Hi,

Im using Composer 4.11, i am trying to change the permissions on my packages, i open the Permission Inspector and it displays unknown in both user and group, i select root and admin to change for my Applications folder, click apply to enclosed Items. It says its done but if i click off the folder and back again the permissions are back to unknown and unknown.

Any ideas please
