[Composer] Installing parts to the users directory

Thank you Bill and Andy for our answers but, yes, you guessed it I do not
have the complete Casper Suite.
We are looking into it but it takes a while to take the decision, so I went
ahead and jumped started with Composer only.

Is there a way to do this with Composer only?

Or do I have to fall back to package maker and shell scripting?
