They would be using Bootcamp. We've been looking at the captureBootCampImage.sh that is part of the Resource Tool kit. We are down to step number 4 in the documentation that comes with this resource kit item. (Capturing the NTFS image) Looking at the comments in the script it look like the command is going to be : sudo captureBootCampImage.sh It looks like the target is already set in the script to savePath="~/ Desktop/BootCamp.ntfs" which is fine. When I execute the command I'm not 100% sure about some of the variables that go with the script. sudo captureBootCampImage.sh I took a shot at it and it did start but came back with an error that it couldn't unmount the partition. Do I need to manually unmount the windows partition ? The Windows XP partition I believe is just called XP. I was wondering if others have had great luck with the Bootcamp scripts in the resource kit. I'm also not entirely sure about gptrefresh.c as it appears to just be c code. Is that ok ? It seems to just say I just need to drop that file into /usr/bin/gptrefresh of the Netboot image ? Someone mentioned that the easiest way to collect the gptrefresh compiled code is to copy it from the "Contents" of the winclone application into the designated location of your booted drive. To do this, download winclone from the site, then right-click and view the contents. The gptrefresh script is embedded in the contents somewhere. I do think that the pm script builder makes things a lot easier if I need to make new ones in the future. As for our schedules, we put all displays to sleep after 20 minutes and computers to sleep after 50. We use wake on lan to wake them up if need be, but don't shut them down since they don't support wake on lan from power off. The file is com.apple.AutoWake.plist and it is located in: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration We set our machines to shutdown at 10 pm and wake at 7:30 am. Of course, if the user leaves apps open that require user intervention, the shutdown does not occur. And since my users regularly leave Illustrator or InDesign files open without saved changes, I am not forcing those apps to quit via a script or anything.
